Our club is involved in a variety of projects that involve fundraising, community service, and assisting children locally and worldwide. Below are the projects in which we are currently involved:
Donation to Montana Special Olympics
Donation to Missoula Medical Aid
Donation of $10,000 to the City of Missoula for the improvement of Kiwanis Park
Ongoing donations to Kiwanis International’s Eliminate Project (elimination of maternal/neonatal tetanus worldwide)
Kiwanis Club of Missoula Annual Basketball Program (free league for grades 6-8) (see Kiwanis Basketball tab)
Donation to the Montana Natural History Center to create the Nature Adventure Garden
Volunteer staffing for meals served at the Povorello Center
Support and funding for Key Clubs (Big Sky High School, Sentinel High School), including college scholarships
Support and funding for Circle K Club at University of Montana
Support and funding for Aktion Club (adults with disabilities)
Donation to the All Abilities playground in Missoula (Silver Summit)
Donations to and support of a variety of local organizations, primarily focused on helping the children and young people in our local community
Reserve Street highway cleanup
